A Note from the Owner

Open early. Close late. When a pool transitions from active filtration and sanitation to a static body of water, temperature becomes critical. I recommend opening early in spring, before warming water encourages algae, and closing later in fall, once ambient temperatures are consistently cool. Following that timing can greatly reduce algae growth and the time, chemicals, and labor required to return the pool to a clean, usable condition.
